HealEx was built from time spent on the ground with individuals living in exploitation. What we saw was simple. People were not being reached, not because they did not need care, but because traditional healthcare does not address the trauma that keeps people from leaving for good.

So we changed the approach.

Founded in 2021, HealEx brings trauma-informed medical and mental health care directly to the streets through mobile clinics. We show up consistently, without conditions, and allow trust to form over time.

From that work, our model became clear.

Access opens the door. Trust allows care to take hold. Self-worth begins to rebuild. Exit becomes possible.

This process takes time and cannot be rushed. But it leads to real, lasting change. Today, we serve hundreds of individuals with care rooted in trust and consistency.
